After trying all kinds of pool floats—from pool noodles to inflatables—I became frustrated by two things. First, most floats on the market only lasted a single summer, sometimes just a month or two, especially the inflatable ones priced over $30. The more durable foam options were often bulky and cost over $100. Second, nearly all of them kept me floating on top of the water, which didn’t help in 90-plus-degree heat. Staying cool meant getting off the float entirely, and with most designs, that wasn’t an easy or enjoyable process.
To address these issues, I started designing a float that met the real needs I had experienced. After several prototypes and revisions, I developed the Lazy Otter Pool Float, now protected under US Patent D765,201 S. It’s built with industrial-strength materials, requires no inflation, folds easily for storage, and most importantly—keeps you comfortably submerged to help you stay cool.
I believe this design fills a gap the market has long ignored. It’s durable, storable, affordable, and made for people who genuinely enjoy spending time in the water. And with our two year manufacturers warranty, I’m confident you’ll love your Lazy Otter float as much as I do.
